The comments and the associated data (e.g. IP address) are stored and remain on this website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments have to be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).
The storage of the comments is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, simply send me an informal email. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
5. Social Media
Social media plugins with Shariff
Plugins from social media are used on this website (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
You can usually recognise the plugins by the respective social media logos. To ensure data protection on this website, we only use these plugins together with the so-called “Shariff” solution. This application prevents the plugins integrated on this website from transmitting data to the respective provider when you first enter the page.
Only when you activate the respective plugin by clicking on the associated button, a direct connection to the provider’s server is established (consent). As soon as you activate the plugin, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you are logged into your respective social media account (e.g. Facebook) at the same time, the respective provider can assign your visit to this website to your user account.
Activating the plugin constitutes consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
Newsletter provider: MailPoet
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, I require an email address from you as well as information that allows me to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. I use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can withdraw your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by me or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by me for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address will be stored by me or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, if necessary, in order to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and my interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
